We’re a nonprofit built to help you understand the risks of AI and decide how to respond.

Designed by a team with years of AI Safety experience and formal training in education. We’re building a program grounded in evidence-based principles — from the course design to the Lens Tutor.
AI raises many risks. We help you focus on what matters most: why superintelligent AI could go very wrong, and what to do about it.
Lens Coach meets you at the start and helps you choose what to do next — from first curiosity through courses, readings, and meaningful action.
You’re not figuring this out alone: weekly guided group discussions with others who care about getting things right.
Our Structured Introduction is a short, self-paced primer on the risks of advanced AI — the best way to get oriented before joining a course.
Read and discuss the book "If Anyone Builds It, Everyone Dies" together with a group. Weekly sessions exploring the arguments, evidence, and implications with fellow learners and a volunteer navigator.
The core arguments for why superintelligence poses an existential risk, what makes alignment genuinely hard, and how to think about what to do about it. Interactive, tutor-guided, and free.
There are no requirements to join. All we ask is that you come motivated and committed to creating a friendly, collaborative atmosphere.
We’ll set you up with a group based on your availability. Each week you’ll study the material with help from our Lens Tutor. Then, you’ll meet online with your group for a discussion guided by one of our navigators — experienced volunteers who help you get the most out of the material.
Not sure where to begin? Lens Coach is an AI guide that meets you wherever you are. Tell it what you already know, what worries you, or how much time you have, and it’ll help you get oriented and point you to the right course, reading, or next step. Available any time, and free.
